The first screening of the Song of Lives documentary feature film was on January 30, 2008 at the 39th Hungarian Film Festival.

The movie premiere was on March 5, 2008 in Budapest, at the Urania National Movie Theatre, were the Song of Lives Orchestra gave a live concert following the movie. Both the film and the concert made a hit in front of a full house.

The film is in the movies from March 13. In Budapest is played in the Urania and Művész Movie, in the country first in Szeged, Pécs and Debrecen, followed by the other movies throughout the country.

On March 6, there was another premiere with full house in Szeged, in the Belvárosi movie, where the meeting with the viewers lasted almost two hours.

The filmmakers are happy to meet the viewers any time in the future. We are already organising the events in Pécs and Győr. So far, unfortunately, only the management of the Debrecen movie considered that the viewers do not deserve a decent premiere in the presence of the filmmakers. With their outrageous attitude first of all they disregarded their own viewers and of course the film itself. We the crew have not given up to meet our viewers in Debrecen in the near future.
